WAREHOUSE ORDER : Standard timeframe for collection/delivery is 3-5 business days. If an item is available from the Gauteng warehouse, and we receive your payment before 9.30am, we may be able to have the item ready on the same day/deliver to a major centre next business day.
The purpose of this Policy is to outline the rules and processes pertaining to collection/delivery for Products sold to the Customer by Delitech.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with Delitech’s Terms of Sale. In the event of a discrepancy, the provisions of this Policy shall take precedence. Capitalised terms used in this Policy shall have the meanings assigned to them herein, unless otherwise specified. Any terms, including Capitalised terms, not explicitly defined within this Policy shall have the same meanings as those set forth in Delitech’s Terms of Sale, in the absence of which they shall be interpreted in accordance with their commonly understood meaning within the context in which they are used. Unless the context indicates otherwise, (a) singular terms shall include the plural and vice versa, (b) references to any gender shall include all genders, and (c) references to persons shall include both natural and legal persons. Headings and numbering are included for ease of reference only.
1. Application
1.1 This Policy applies to the sale of Products across a range of categories, including, but not limited to, accessories, adaptors, cables, components, connectors, consumables, hardware, licenses, parts, peripherals, software, spares, and sundries (“Products”) to the Customer regardless of platform.
1.2 This includes, but is not limited to, in-store sales, online sales, electronic sales (including e-mail), telephonic sales, Products sold while providing Services to the Customer (including On-site Services and Workshop Services), or through any other interaction with the Customer.
2. Subject to Availability of Stock
2.1 All sales are subject to the availability of stock.
2.2 By displaying goods in its marketing materials, including but not limited to on its website, social media pages, or any printed materials, Delitech does necessarily imply or otherwise guarantee that stock is readily available.
2.2.1 Certain Products may be available on order only. Delitech will inform the Customer if this is the case.
2.3 Upon the Customer placing an order, Delitech will verify the availability of the items, including the specified quantities.
2.3.1 If the requested stock is unavailable, Delitech will notify the Customer. Where applicable, Delitech will issue a refund to the Customer in accordance with its Returns & Refunds policy.
2.4 The phrases "Typically available from warehouse" and “Warehouse order” shall be understood to mean:
2.4.1 The stock may not be immediately available for dispatch;
2.4.2 The stock can generally be sourced from one or more supplier warehouses, subject to availability;
2.4.3 Ordering such stock may extend the lead delivery time to the Customer by an additional 1-2 business days; and
2.4.4 By ordering such stock, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the foregoing terms.
3. Collection / Delivery
3.1 Delitech will notify the Customer when their order is ready for collection / delivery.
3.2 It is the responsibility of the Customer to advise Delitech if a third-party will be collecting their order on their behalf. In the absence of such notification, Delitech reserves the right to refuse to release the Customer’s order to any person.
3.3 Delitech reserves the right to require proof of identity from the person collecting the Customer’s order.
3.4 The Customer must collect their order within seven (7) days of being notified that it is ready to collect. If the Customer fails to collect their order within this period, Delitech may on-sell the order or return it to the supplier, subject to the order cancellation terms stated herein.
3.5 All orders must be signed for upon collection.
3.7 The Customer may opt for delivery of their order subject to a delivery fee. Delitech will quote the Customer for delivery using a suitable courier according to the Customer’s delivery preferences.
3.8 Most couriers typically deliver to major towns and cities in 2-3 business days. Delivery to rural and outlying areas may take longer (3-5 business days).
3.9 Unless otherwise stated, the delivery fee excludes insurance for damage to or theft of the Customer’s order that may occur during transit. As such, it is the Customer’s responsibility to arrange for insurance for their order. Delitech will quote the Customer for insurance upon request.
3.10 Once the Customer’s order has been collected by the Delitech’s couriers, Delitech will provide a tracking number to the Customer.
3.11 The Customer must follow up directly with the courier in the event of any delivery delays. The Customer shall not summarily cancel their order with Delitech on the basis of delays on the part of the courier.
3.12 The delivery fee excludes delivery and other services, including but not limited to installation and configuration Services.
3.13 Any Services provided to the Customer by Delitech will be subject to Delitech’s Terms of Service and charged for.
